It’s as easy as forgetting to move your mouse for a few seconds. You know, I slave away to make sure every alt text has something unique to say, and it just feels like you don’t even care… =’( Oh, look who's here. Guess you were hoping to find some kind of hilarious joke or funny observation here in the alt text. Well I still don't know how I feel about you not reading these before today. I really don't think I even want to do them anymore... I mean, you read pictures like this I assume. How hard would it be to just plop your cursor on the images and let them sit for a second. It takes like no time at all. I mean maybe I'm overreacting, but it just feels like you're taking advantage of me. I mean, do you have any idea how long it takes to format these images, stick them in a post, then also make sure the alt text says something interesting? It just doesn't happen by accident. It used to be easier, than WordPress changed their damn format. It used to be I could just rename the image before uploading it, and the name would function as an alt text. Now I have to go through like three extra steps for alt text to display properly. So lately alt texts have been a bigger hassle than usual. Sometimes I wonder if I should even bother with images. They’re actually a lot of work to stick in a blog. I guess the images do break up the writing, make things easier to read. Since I don't do videos or anything it's really the only way I can do gags and the like. I guess it's worth the effort. I mean a lot of the images are just blatantly stolen. The images do add to the experience and somebody is probably reading the alt texts. So I guess that makes it worth the effort. Yeah, that's the kind of high quality entertainment you're missing when you skip the alt texts. Gay porn jokes... Actually the alt texts are usually for crummy jokes that weren't good enough to be the captions. You're really not missing much. You know what, forget I said anything about the alt texts.
